FBC's Children’s Ministry is focusing on Growing.  We are growing in our Bible knowledge during Sunday School, we are learning about growing in grace during Music and Missions, and on Wednesday evenings, we are learning about the fruits we produce as we grow and building solid biblical foundations to grow off of.

Growing in our Bible Knowledge during Sunday School

Children’s Sunday School at FBC Waco is broken down by age group.  During Sunday School, our children focus on Scripture as they learn the stories God tells us through the Bible.

Growing in Grace through Music and Missions

We kick off Sunday evenings with Children’s Choirs where children sing, play instruments, and lead in worship.  Following Music, there is a snack dinner and free play on the playground before heading to Mission Friends, Girls on Mission, and Boys on Mission.

Growing our Fruits: Foundations and Fruits of the Spirit

On Wedesday nights, following the Church-wide fellowship meal, our children gather in the Chapel for a time of energetic and kid-focused worship.  Afterwards, our children break into groups according to age, where they have a bible lesson, play games, and do crafts.  Our 1st-3rd graders are spending time learning about the Fruits of the Spirit and how they are shown in a Christian life, while our 4th-6thgraders participate in Foundations, where they are buiding solid biblical foundations to grow from.
